How do I properly respond to a topic in the Trisquel-devel mailing list?

Hello everyone.

I've never used a mailing list before, especially Trisquel-devel. If someone responds to an email I've sent to name at domain, do I reply directly to the sender, or do I send a new email to the mailing list?

Please excuse me, I wasn't aware that I'm not allowed to post the address, although no such thing was mentioned in the community guidelines. My bad. I'm not able to edit my original post.
