Abrowser password manager fails
Problem happens at current version of Trisquel, Ecne (12), and current version of Abrowser, 155.0.1 (64 bits). It happens at both my desktop and my portable computers.
Abrowser works apparently fine. Passwords are kept and auto-filled when needed. But by chance, the password I have noted down for a website fails, so I decide to open Abrowser's menu and open the Passwords page to check what password has Abrowser stored... and then i encounter the problem. On the left side, the list of sites with stored passwords is displayed all right. The order can be changed at will. Hovering the cursor over one item of the list causes it to be highlighted and a tooltip text to appear, all right. But when I click on any of them, instead of showing me the information for that site and a chance to read what the stored password is, the main space of the page stays blank. Clicks are ineffective. Same thing happens after restarting Abrowser in safe mode.
It looks like the issue is also present on a newly created Abrowser profile.
It does not seem to be present on Icecat (140.16.0esr) so if you need to access them momentarily you can export the passwords stored in Abrowser and import them in Icecat, or simply open the csv file they have been exported to.
Closest match from Firefox bug tracker, unfortunately unsolved to this day: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1992601.
Thank you for your answer.
Yes, that bug seems to be exactly the same one.
The workaround works fine by exporting the passwords to a CSV file, then opening it in LibreOffice Calc.
